I once read this amazing fic on FF.net.

House meets death. Who turns up in a patientapos;s room somehow and is called Mort. It was like something Neil Gaiman would write, completely terrifying and beautiful. He tries to lure House to come with him, and at one point both House and Wilson are somehow... Dead? In some way? Iapos;m not sure. Thereapos;s a white tower and House asks Wilson to remember.
